Who's Behind the Name?

Though Master Cabinetworks, Inc. was established in 2007, its president, Edward O'Moore-Klopf, has been creating fine cabinetry and furniture since 1984.

As a college student, he studied materials strength and design. He took that further detail of fireplace mantel
as an apprentice with the Phoenix Boat Shop Cooperative on Cape Cod, making seaworthy wooden vessels with old-fashioned tools. He went on to work as a cabinetmaker for various small cabinetmaking firms on New York State's Long Island, spending 14 years with his last employer. Over the years, he learned many processes for producing fine furniture. But he also learned to listen to clients to discern exactly the look and feel that they want. He has produced many styles of furniture and cabinetry, from Old World European to modern, from faux antique to country to sleek eclectic.
